Sandy Keyser - Employment First Specialist, Missouri DMHDDD

Sandy Keyser has been an Employment First Specialist for the Division of Developmental Disabilities since 2012. Prior to that , she worked as a Support Coordinator from 2004-2012. During that time, her case load primarily included young adults transitioning from high school to adulthood, which allowed her to become familiar with the experiences and resources available to help individuals explore employment. In 2012, Sandy obtained expertise in benefits planning from MU TACE, which she has used to help individuals and families understand how work income can impact one's benefits and the operations available to those individuals.

Join Sandy as she takes participants on an interactive adventure to experience how work income can impact one's Social Security Benefits. Participants will get to see how living off of Social Security Benefits can be very limiting. And through work income, individuals can then have more income to make ends meet and enjoy more of what life has to offer.
