Kristin Lovin - PT Regional Coordinator for the Columbia Area, MPACT

Kristin is the Regional Coordinator for Missouri Parents Act (MPACT). she has a degree in Early Childhood Education and was a Special Educator for Headstart in Colorado. She is currently a classroom coach for Headstart in Columbia, MO in addition to her position with MPACT. She has three children - one is in graduate school, one is in college, and the youngest is in high school. Kristin has Dyslexia and her own children have had Section 504 Accommodations and IEPs. She enjoys supporting individuals of all ages to reach their goals, big or small. One of her favorite quotes is "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." - Les Brown

Session Description - Solving the Employment Puzzle:

This training centers on employment for youth with disabilities by presenting two distinct strands: self-determination and "do-it yourself" strategies for parents and concrete information about employment and how to access adult services for teens/young adults.
