Agency Funding
Not-for-profit organizations located in Adair County may apply for funding to initiate, enhance, and/or expand services to persons with developmental disabilities residing in Adair County.
Individual Funding
Individuals (or parents/guardians of minor children) with developmental disabilities who qualify with the State Division of Developmental Disabilities may apply for funding through the ACSDDB to meet needs or cover expenses which are specifically related to their disabilities.
This support is designed to complement - not take the place of - existing funding sources, including such sources as Department of Mental Health, Vocational Rehabilitation, Medicaid/Medicare/private insurance, local civic clubs and churches, local Community Action Agencies, etc. Service coordinators can assist individuals to access these alternative funding sources.
